Health in a Remote Community: Understanding the Challenges and Examining the Opportunities for Improving Delivery

Working with the Dene Tha’ Health Centre, community members, and community groups as appropriate, the graduate fellow will work closely with IC-IMPACTS, a Canadian Network Centre of Excellence, to further the health research needs of the community and to develop an explicit project job description for future projects. This fellowship is envisioned as a critical first stage in understanding the health circumstances and service systems of the Dene Tha’ and providing meaningful assessment of the opportunities for research to help overcome any challenges in general, and the opportunity for mobile health technologies in particular.
