Julia Russell


Julia is a candidate for a Master of Science in Community Health Sciences at the University of Northern British Columbia. For her Master’s research Julia studied the seasonal dynamics of food security amongst the homeless in Northern British Columbia. She completed her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science & International Development at the University of Toronto, and examined the use of food for building relationships among street youth in La Paz, Bolivia for her undergraduate thesis. Prior to returning to school, Julia worked as an organic farmer.
